Vermillion is a Tunisia-born, Toronto-based figurative artist who works to transcend traditional approaches to representation by exploring the emotive possibilities of paint. A registered acupuncturist since 2015, he applies his professional experience towards an experimental painting practice that is rich with empathy. Vermillion has exhibited widely, and his recent series, Dust 2, was a finalist for the 16th annual International Art Renewal Center Salon.
